A young woman from Nazareth who answered the angel, “May it happen to me.” She follows Jesus from His birth to the cross.
A yes that changed history
A young woman from Nazareth, probably a teenager, engaged to Joseph. To the angel’s impossible announcement, she answers “May it happen to me according to your word,” risking her reputation and her future.
From the manger to the cross
She treasures everything in her heart (Lk 2:19), searches for the lost boy in the temple, prompts the first miracle in Cana and, when almost everyone flees, stands at the foot of the cross, where she receives John as her son.
