The father who raised Jesus
A carpenter from Nazareth, a righteous man. He obeyed the angel, protected Mary and the child, and raised Jesus as a father, a model of quiet, faithful fatherhood.
The righteous man
A carpenter from Nazareth. When he learns of Mary’s pregnancy, he decides to protect her quietly; he obeys the angel and takes her in.
Fatherhood that protects
He flees to Egypt to save the child, brings him back and raises him in Nazareth. Not a single word of his is recorded, only obedience and care.
