The first witness
Set free by Jesus, she stood at the cross and was the first to see the risen Lord, sent to announce it to the disciples.
Set free and loyal
Jesus drove seven demons out of her; she began to follow him and to support the group. She was at the cross when almost everyone fled.
'Maria!'
In the garden, weeping, she does not recognize him until he says her name. She becomes the first witness of the resurrection and is sent to announce it: “the apostle to the apostles.”
