The waters of baptism
A river running through the Holy Land, where Joshua led Israel across on dry ground and where, centuries later, John baptized. When He was baptized there, Jesus saw the heavens opened, the Spirit descending like a dove, and heard the Father's voice: “This is My beloved Son.”
