The story
After a night of catching nothing, Peter obeys and lets down the nets by day; they fill until they begin to tear. Peter falls to his knees: “Go away from me, Lord,” he says, “for I am a sinful man.”
The meaning
Meeting the Holy One reveals how small we are, and that is exactly where Jesus calls: “Do not be afraid.” “From now on you will catch men.”
