The Creation
In the beginning
God creates the heavens and the earth with order and purpose; human beings, male and female, in his image.
Order out of chaos
Out of the 'formless and void', God creates by His word, separating light from darkness, sea from land, and filling everything with life, 'and God saw that it was good'.
Made in the image of God
The high point is the human being, man and woman, created in the image of God, with dignity and purpose. John says everything was made through the Word, Jesus.
