Jesus walks on the sea; Peter tries and sinks when he doubts.
He comes in the middle of the storm
Before dawn, with the disciples rowing against the wind, Jesus comes walking on the sea, mastery over chaos, an attribute of God in the Old Testament.
Peter sinks when he looks at the wind
Peter asks to come and walks on the water, until he takes his eyes off Jesus. 'You of little faith, why did you doubt?'. Jesus catches him right away.
