Jesus Is Born!
A Bible story for kids ages 3–8. Read it together, do the actions and talk at the end.
Mary was going to have a baby. She and Joseph made a long, long trip to the little town of Bethlehem.
👉 March in place, nice and slow, like on a long trip!
In Bethlehem there was no room at the inn. An inn is a little hotel. Everything was full!
👉 Knock on the door: knock, knock, knock!
Then baby Jesus was born! Mary wrapped Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger, the little box where animals eat.
👉 Rock a baby in your arms, nice and gently.
Nearby, some shepherds were watching their sheep in the field, late at night.
👉 Say baa like the little sheep!
Suddenly an angel appeared, and everything shone! He said, “Do not be afraid!” The Savior had been born!
👉 Open your eyes wide, surprised: wow!
Many angels appeared, praising God: “Glory to God in the highest”!
👉 Raise your arms and sing: Glory to God!
The shepherds hurried to Bethlehem and found the baby in the manger, just like the angel said!
👉 Run in place, super fast!
Far away in the east, some wise men saw the star of the newborn King. And they traveled to worship Him!
👉 Point at the sky and look for the star!
The star went ahead of them and stopped over the house where the child was. The wise men were so, so happy!
They knelt, worshiped Jesus and gave Him gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh. God's greatest gift is Jesus!
👉 Kneel down and say: thank You, God, for Jesus!
Verse: “Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you.” (Luke 2:11)
