Noah's Ark
A Bible story for kids ages 3–8. Read it together, do the actions and talk at the end.
Noah loved God and walked with Him every day. God was very pleased with Noah.
👉 Take a little walk around the room, side by side with someone!
Lots of people had forgotten to do good. God asked Noah: build an ark, a huge wooden boat!
Noah did everything God told him. Knock, knock, knock! The boat got bigger and bigger!
👉 Bang your fist on your hand like a hammer: knock, knock, knock!
The animals went into the ark in pairs: giraffes, elephants, lions, little birds… What a long line!
👉 Count with me by twos: 2, 4, 6, 8!
Noah went in with his family. And God Himself shut the door. Everyone snug and safe!
👉 Make the sound of the door shutting: THUD!
Then it started to rain and rain and rain! Many days and many nights. The ark rose up and floated on the water.
👉 Drum your fingers on the table like rain: pitter, patter, pitter!
Inside, everyone was safe. God remembered Noah and sent a wind to dry up the waters.
👉 Blow really hard, like the wind: whoooosh!
Noah let a dove go. She came back with a little green leaf in her beak. The land was drying!
👉 Hook your thumbs together and make a little dove fly with your hands!
Everyone came out! God put a rainbow in the clouds: a promise that the waters would never cover the earth again.
👉 Draw a rainbow in the air with your finger, really big!
Verse: “God remembered Noah” (Genesis 8:1)
